About Us

Our Broker-In-Charge, Kent K. Strobel is a native of Maryland. He was graduated with Honors from The Citadel in 1968. A former member of the Horry County (SC) Board of Education, Kent became a certified instructor with the South Carolina Real Estate Commission in 2001.

Kent's real estate credentials include:

Received his first real estate license in 1984 and real estate broker license in 1987.
Became a member of the Greater Horry County Association of Realtors® in 1993.
Became a member of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors® in April 1997.
Awarded designation as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) in 1997.
Completed the Floyd Wickman STAR Development Program with honors in April 1998.
Awarded designation as Graduate, Realtors® Institute (GRI) in 1998.
Served on the Technology Committee of the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors® from 1999 to 2001.
Served on the Education Committee of the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors® in 2004.
Served on the Professional Standards Committee of the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors® in 2006.
Became Broker-In-Charge of Herald Real Estate, Inc. in 2007.

Kent has three children and four grandchildren.
